Vikings BMX Park & the Community

Vikings BMX Park is a community facility available for use by the general public. The volunteer members of the Tuggeranong BMX Club maintain the Park & BMX track. The Park is situated on Sulwood Drive adjacent the Kambah Fire Station.

Objectives

To promote the exciting sport of BMX racing in the Tuggeranong region and provide a facility for local youth and families to enjoy. The Tuggeranong BMX Club also promotes safe riding & self-protection techniques through education of its members. The club encourages a fun atmosphere and promotes good sportsmanship amongst officials and competitors.

Competition

The Tuggeranong Vikings BMX Club conducts race meets on Saturday afternoons fortnightly. Male & Female classes are available from under 5's to 45+ years. A BMX licence and club membership costs approximately $70.00 per year Points are allocated at each round of the Tuggeranong BMX Championships (club racing) and trophies are awarded to competitors who compete the minimum required rounds. Members of the Tuggeranong BMX Club also compete in Regional, State, National & World Championships.
