Vikings Cadetship Program
The Vikings Cadetship Program is now in its 5th year of operation and has seen in excess of 60 cadets graduate from what is the ACT's most comprehensive Club Industry development course.
The Cadetship program was introduced to provide participants with full training in all aspects of the Club Industry. In its 5 years of operation it has unearthed a variety of talented young individuals who have gone on to become senior line mangers within The Vikings Group.
In 2006 the Vikings Group partnered with The Canberra Institute of Technology - CIT, to develop a program that provides a solid foundation in Hospitality operations and more specifically, the principals and methodologies that are employed at The Vikings Group. This has resulted in a new generation of staff entering the Club Industry, ensuring the future of The Vikings Group is in capable hands.
The Future of The Vikings Group were rewarded at the Cadetship graduation night held on Wednesday 5 December 2007 at The Auditorium. Members of the CIT Hospitality School and Senior Club Management were on hand to present the Cadets with their Certificates of Achievement in Certificate 3 Hospitality, Certificate 4 Frontline Management and Diploma of Hospitality. It is a great credit to the Cadets that received their certificates that day as it represented up to three years dedication and hard work on their behalf. We look forward to presenting the Class of '07 with their qualifications later in the year.
